The Molesini Wine Club Team

I have been a friend and customer of Marco and Paolo’s for years, visiting their shop when we’re in Italy, and shipping wines home when, sadly, it is time to leave. The Molesini Wine Club has been a welcome extension of my connection with them (and, now, with Rachel). Marco and Paolo are knowledgeable, fair, and charming. The wines run to the divine. And the club is a great source of new experience.

The Molesini Wine Shop and Club is located right in the heart of Tuscany in the center of Cortona where "Under the Tuscan Sun" was filmed. Their range of selections at good prices is unsurpassed. Service is on the same level as their extensive inventory and wine tastings. Marco, Paolo as well as all employees are extremely knowledgeable and personable. They are a one of a kind, total Italian wine experience. We are already scheduled for our third Pilgrimage to Cortona because of them!

Marco made our first visit to Tuscany magic! We learned so much about Tuscan wines and had the most extraordinary winery visits. Marco and Paolo are so connected in the Italian wine community and through them you have access to unique and special places. We have been back to Tuscany several times to Wine Club events…each one has been so well organized and tons of fun! We almost exclusively drink Italian wines now and the wine club keeps us well stocked.

I have been a member of the Molesini Wine Club since 2017 and would happily tell anybody that this is the very best Wine Club. Marco always makes wonderful recommendations of truly outstanding wines, the shipments are handled flawlessly, arrive in perfect condition and on the day predicted. We look forward in each shipment to getting the recipe with the shipment…these recipes are great and we have enjoyed several of them. Rachel is a perfect Club Director and wonderful communicator, so we always know when the delivery is due and when Marco and Paolo are doing their next virtual wine tasting.

We're so pleased to have been a part of the Molesini Wine Club family ever since it started, and would highly recommend it to anyone with a passion for Italian wine and travel. They're all dear friends to us who we can't wait to see every time we visit Cortona.  Their recommendations have always been great and their wine selection is both broad and deep, especially for wine in and around Tuscany.  And we absolutely love the exclusive events they've hosted for us from five-course dinners, to wine club weekends, to private tours, and, of course, Benvenuto Brunello and the other annual wine releases across Tuscany.

I am very proud to have been a member of the Molesini Wine Club since its inception. Having traveled to Cortona repeatedly over the past 20 years, we had the opportunity to meet Marco & Paolo when our son lived there working as a chef at a Relais & Châteaux.  We have ordered specialty Italian food products and wine from Molesini ever since. Though we have access to a very broad array of Italian wine locally, what makes belonging to the Molesini Wine Club particularly special to me is the expert local knowledge and selection of noteworthy wines and secondly, access to wines that are not distributed to the US. These two unique features make membership in the Molesini Wine Club very special!

My friends and I stopped in the Molesini wine shop in Cortona in May of 2017. I asked for Marco as a gentleman I met told me about the shop and to ask for him. Marco said “I’m Marco how can I help you?” Marco spoke perfect English, which is good since the only Italian I speak is Brunello, Barolo, Chianti, and Sangiovese! 

From the second we were in the store I felt I had known Marco for years. Since that day in 2017 I have not been associated with a more knowledgeable, kind and sincere wine professional and friend. Since the initial wine club order, I have had follow up from Marco Molesini and Rachel Pedersen every shipment. If something is wrong or just not how I like it, THEY FIX IT. 

If you love wine and friendship THE MOLESINI CLUB is one you must join. Trust me, you will never quit.

Cortona may be the most charming little place in the world, and the Molesinis are a big part of that charm. In the last couple years we haven't been able to visit, but the Wine Club and other events have made us feel as if we were there. A lot of wine drinkers, myself included, tend to stick to their favorites, and the Club's offerings are a way to open us up to new wines. Thanks for that.

I have been a member of the Molesini Wine Club for a couple of years now, and have found the whole experience to be brilliant! The quarterly case of wine is always eagerly anticipated. The wines that Marco recommends and sends through to us are always excellent, and I have found my knowledge and taste has developed from my membership and his guidance.

The virtual wine tastings have been a revelation the last 12 months or so. They have allowed members to bring in friends and family, and for me an excellent Christmas gift for a few of my clients.

Marco has been a brilliant leader, teacher and mentor for us - we all now have a new mantra "Wine is food" I'm looking forward to a guided wine tour with him this summer
